November 30 (10am-2pm)-December 1 (12pm-4pm): Bypass Farm Holiday Open House.

Enjoy the farm for a little holiday shopping. The greenhouse will be open to purchase poinsettias, table top Norfolk pine trees, christmas cactus, succulent dish gardens, cyclamen, azalea and violet plants. An assortment of craft items, homemade goat’s milk soaps and lotions, canned goods, eggs, syrup and honey all available to stock up on! Warm Cider and Homemade Breads will be ready to sample! November 30-December 1: Watertown Historical Society Annual Holiday Play.

The Watertown Players will present “The Gift of the Magi.” The show will be performed inside the Octagon House Musuem, from 11:00 to 3:00 each day, with new performances every 30 minutes throughout the days of the performances. Admission: $7 adults; $4 children under 12. Up to two children under 12 admitted free with an adult admission. 919 Charles St.

December 1-15: Watertown Window Wonderland.

Participating downtown Watertown businesses will be dressed in their holiday best, trying to get your vote for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd best holiday window. Ballots for voting are available at all participating businesses. Voting is open from December 1-15, but windows will remain decorated through January 1st.

December 1, 1pm-5pm: Watertown Holiday Parade of Homes.

Visit 5-6 beautiful homes dressed in their holiday best. Visit the Holiday Parade of Homes Facebook page for 2019 homes and ticket information.

December 3, 2019: Canadian Pacific Holiday Train-Watertown Stop.

December 3, 5:30pm-10pm: CMN Christmas Movie at Towne Cinema.

RE/MAX Solutions will be hosting the 19th Annual Christmas Movie to benefit Children’s Miracle Network! This year we will be showing the 1945 classic Christmas in Connecticut. Staring Barbara Stanwyck, Dennis Morgan and Sydney Greenstreet. December 12, 7pm-8:30pm: Traditional carols to be performed at Watertown History Center.

The Watertown Historical Society will host a special presentation on traditional Christmas carols performed by local musicians Cliff Lueck and his granddaughter, Wilhelmina Zastrow, on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2019 starting at 7 p.m. at the Watertown History Center on the grounds of the Octagon House Museum, 919 Charles St.Doors to the event will open at 6:30 p.m. with the concert starting at 7 p.m. Tickets will be sold at the door for $5 per person, with all funds benefiting the historical society. The carols will be performed on vintage instruments from Lueck’s extensive collection, including an 1870s one-keyed flute upon which Zastrow will perform, with Lueck showcasing his Early Romantic guitar from 1860. Following the musical performance, the historical society will show the heartwarming short film, Christmas on Grandfather’s Farm, that was filmed by the Watertown Curtain Club in 1958 at the Octagon House and at a farmhouse along Oconomowoc Avenue.

December 14, 9am-11am: Visit with Santa at Bank of Lake Mills.

Children of all ages can meet Santa, receive a small gift, and enjoy treats. Families can bring their cameras to take pictures. The public is welcome and there is no charge. Bank of Lake Mills asks that families bring items or a monetary donation for the Watertown Humane Society. 400 Bernard St.

December 21-22, 1pm-7pm: 2019 Public Open House Model Train and Tractor.

Enjoy a Watertown annual favorite at the open house for model trains and tractors on December 21st & 22nd from 1pm-7pm both days. All ages welcome! See the vintage tractors, and nearly an entire shed dedicated to hundreds of model train displays that you certainly won’t be disappointed seeing! From now until Christmas their Christmas light display will also be open to drive through. Please be respectful and not drive through after 11pm. W7018 Provimi Rd.

December 31, 8pm-12:30am: Watertown New Year’s Eve Party.

Watertown Tourism and the Watertown Main Street Program are partnering to throw a formal New Year’s Eve Party that you won’t soon forget! This grand event will take place at Turner Hall, with ample space to dance the night away. Your ticket price includes live music by Cold Sweat and the Brew City Horns, appetizers, NYE party favors, and a champagne toast with 1,000-balloons dropping at midnight. Stay tuned as we start promoting dining options, after-party locations, salon packages, and more! Dress to be cocktail/evening wear. (attendees must be 21 and over).
