July Calendar of Events
July 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, 7am-noon: Watertown Farmers Market. The market offers healthy foods that include meats, cheeses, honey, produce and more. In addition, shoppers will find beautiful plants and flowers, décor, and more!
July 3: 4th of July Festivities. 3:00pm – 10:00pm at Riverside Park – Brats, burgers, floats, treats, beer and soda. Live music 3-6pm: Singer/Songwriter Kelsey Miles and 6:30pm: Ol’ Style Skratch. FIREWORKS at Dusk.
July 4: 4th of July Festivities. HUGE Fourth of July Parade starts at 10am traveling through downtown Watertown to Dewey Ave, to Division St. Activities at Riverside Park: 10am-6pm-Brats, burgers, floats, treats, beer and soda. Following parade end, meet and greet the Brew City Wrestlers. Brew City Wrestling bell time is 2:00pm sharp.
July 7, 10am: Discs Vs. Sticks. Disc golfers are challenging the Ball Golfers to a DUEL!! 2 man teams go head to head in a challenge to prove which sport can do it better! Bring your own partner Best Shot round of 18 holes on the Windwood of Watertown ball golf course! Baskets will be set out next to the greens at equal distance from the tee pads! We will have a True Par 72 Course!!
July 10, 6-8pm: Lights & Sirens. Free community fair focusing on community safety through education. Riverside Park.
July 12, 19, 26, 7:30pm-9:30pm: Watertown Municipal Band Concert. Enjoy a beautiful summer evening in Riverside Park while enjoying a live performance by the Watertown Municipal Band.
July 13, 7pm-9pm: David Stoddard in Concert at the Watertown Players Theater. This one night only event features the talents of nationally known lyricist and composer, David Stoddard. Stoddard has won the Kerrville New Folk award as well as songwriting awards at the South Florida Folk Festival, the Tucson Folk Festival, the Minnesota Folk Festival, and others. He has been the opening act for such artists as Juice Newton, Leon Russell, Rik Emmett, and Jeremy Messersmith. Tickets are on sale now at Piggly Wiggly, 1330 Memorial Dr, Watertown, and on-line at brownpapertickets.com for $12. Tickets will also be available at the door for $16.
July 14, 9am-1pm: Grinwald Ford Annual Car Show. The car show features any year Ford Mustang, and other cars 20 years old or older. Enjoy music, food, raffles, slot car races, and outdoor vendors. 101 Hwy 16 Frontage Rd.
July 18-21: Maxwell Street Days. Stroll Watertown’s 9-block historic downtown while enjoying sidewalk sales, store specials, and more!
July 19, 5:30pm-8:30pm: Downtown Watertown Craft Beer Walk. Sample 9 specialty craft beers with snack pairings in 9 unique locations in downtown Watertown. Purchase your tickets today at watertownmainstreet.org.
July 19-21, 9am: Annual ROC Rummage Sale. Watertown’s largest rummage sale under one roof! Trinity –St. Lukes Lutheran Elementary School, 801 S 5th Street.
July 21-22: Watertown Catholic Parish Festival. You’re not going to want to miss the Watertown Catholic Festival! Featuring a stellar list of popular bands and music including:
****Light Up—The Music of Styx, including: “Come Sail Away,” “Mr. Roboto,” and more!
****Rhythm Method—Celebrating the best hit music of the 80’s
****Extra Crispy Brass Band—New Orleans-style brass band music
****UW-Madison Marching Band—“5th Quarter” Performance
In addition to the free festival admission, there are over $10,000 in cash raffle prizes, awesome silent auction and raffle items, free bingo, bean bag tournaments, children’s carnival games, gladiator joust, bounce houses, obstacle course and an array of delectable food and beverage items, including the famous chicken dinner on Sunday. Celebration of the Catholic Mass is offered at 4 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. on Sunday.
July 28, 7pm-11pm: Wayland w/Bad Habitz perform at Riverbend RV Resort. Riverbend Rv Resort is throwing their Summer Concert series again and they are bringing the rock back as they welcome Wayland, live Sat. July 28 with special guest Bad Habitz kicking this off.
