See you in Watertown this June!




June 2: Fiesta Cultural. The festival returns to Riverside Park. The traditional dancers of Mexico will be performed at 3pm. Enjoy live mariachi music, face painting, 4x4 soccer tournaments (children and adults. Register at www.fiestacultural.org), raffle drawings at 5pm, dunk tank, games and contests. June 5, 12, 19,26, 7am-12pm: Watertown Farmers Market. Provides a source for fresh, seasonal foods along with a nice complement of handmade crafts and home-based business items. The 2018 Tuesday market will be held rain or shine Tuesdays, May 1 - Nov 6 from 7 am-noon - with select vendors remaining until 1 pm for those wishing to shop over the lunch hour. Located in the large parking lot of Riverside Park; ample parking is available for market customers.


June 9, Watertown Aquatic Center opens for the season. Swimmers can take advantage of the many features such as the large zero depth area. This area enables swimmers to enjoy the heated water in a variety of depths from 0' to 5½ feet in the main pool. Other features include a 12' Mushroom Waterfall, several floor fountains, and even waterslides for the younger set. Enjoy a wild ride down our 216 foot waterslide and take a plunge on our 24 foot dropslide. There is also a one-meter diving board, and a 25 meter lap lane. The Aquatic Center also features a sand playground area, concession stand with adjacent eating areas, sand volleyball court, sun arbors, large deck and grass area with lounge chairs, and a bathhouse with coin-operated lockers for your convenience. The Aquatic Center is located at 1009 Perry St.


June 14, 21, 28, 7:30pm-9:30pm: Watertown Municipal Band Concert. Enjoy a beautiful summer evening in Riverside Park while enjoying a live performance by the Watertown Municipal Band.



June 15-17, (15th and 16th at 7pm, 17th at 3pm): The Watertown Players Youth Theater presents Into the Woods Jr. Music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, book by James Lapine. $12 in advance/$16 at the door. 210 S Water Street.


June 16, 10am-1pm: Bicycle Rodeo. The Bicycle Rodeo is for kids up to age 12 who can ride a two-wheeled bicycle. At the bicycle rodeo there are eight different stations with chalked courses that the children have to master in order to pass the course. The objective of each course is to make sure that each child operates his or her bike correctly. This year the group is hoping to give away bicycle helmets, over 20 bicycles and LOTS of great prizes from local business! Sunrise Kiwanis Club will be selling snacks during the rodeo. Watertown High School parking lot. (If it’s needed, the rain date is Monday June 18th from 5:30p to 7:00pm).


June 21st noon-June 25th 4pm: The Moving Wall. The Moving Wall, a half-scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C., will be arriving in Watertown on June 21st with a hero’s welcome. An expected 750 motorcycles will form a procession, driving from Oconomowoc to Watertown’s Main Street to be welcomed by flags, crowds of people, and Tim Chambers, the saluting marine. The procession will continue to its display site at the Watertown Municipal Airport, where it will be set up in a chevron-shape like the original. The 250 foot wall will be available for viewing around the clock from setup on the 21st, until takedown on the 25th. Free admission and parking. Watertown Municipal Airport, 1741 River Dr.


June 22, 6:00pm: 2nd Annual Wild Goose and Duck Chase. Wild goose chase at 6pm and duck race at 6:30pm at Cady St. bridge to Main St bridge. Food and beer available for purchase: brats, burgers, hot dogs and more! Live music to follow by “Jake’s Room.”


June 23, Tour da Goose Ride for the Watertown Area Cares Clinic. The ride offers supported distances of of 100, 62, 42, 22, and 12 miles through the picturesque countryside of Dodge and Jefferson Counties. This year, kids under 18 ride free with an adult rider. June 23-24: The Watertown Military Show. The Watertown Military Show will take place on June 23-24, at the Watertown Municipal Airport. The show features displays of historic military vehicles, historical military aircraft, military re-enactments, static displays of military collectibles, POW/MIA hot air balloon with free tethered rides, live music, and more. June 27, 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM - Tony Rocker-Rockin' with Elvis. Enjoy live music as you take in a car show! Hardee's-715 East Main Street.
