So much to do in Watertown this September!

September Calendar of Events


September 4,11,18, 25, 7am-noon: Watertown Farmers Market. The market offers healthy foods that include meats, cheeses, honey, produce and more. In addition, shoppers will find beautiful plants and flowers, décor, and more!


September 6, 13,20,17, 3pm-6pm: Garden Tales Farmers Market. Fresh, local produce and more! Watertown Public Library parking lot. Every Thursday through October 25th.


September 6, 7, 8,9: Friends of the Watertown Public Library Annual Used Books Sale. Thursday 9am-7:30pm; Friday 9am-5:30pm, Saturday 9am-noon with sale special, $5.00/bag (includes library tote). Sunday 12pm-1:30pm everything must go! 100 South Water Street.


September 7-8: Star BBQ Challenge. Come to cook, or come to eat! Enjoy the cook-off, live music, and fireworks on Friday night! For a full schedule of events, visit starbbqcompetition.com. Marine Corps Aero Park.


September 8, 9am-4pm: Watertown Historical Society Antique and Art Show. Highlights of the day will include a silent auction, discounted tours of the Octagon House Museum, historical presentations, lunch available onsite, and seasonal produce and decorations will be for sale. $5 cover charge for adults 18 and older to help support museum operations. 919 Charles St.


September 8, 11am-3pm: Fall Aire Frolic. The event serves as a fundraiser for the Airedale Terrier Rescue Association. The public is welcome to the event and can enjoy food, games, raffles and more. W1314 Cedar Dr.,Ixonia. www.aire-rescue.org


September 9, 8am-3pm: Watertown Municipal Airport Annual Open House and Pancake Breakfast. Airplane rides,drone races, demos, static aircraft, and much more. Pancake Breakfast 8am-noon. 1741 River Dr.


September 9, 11am: 4th Annual Battle of the Badges- Watertown Fire versus Watertown Police Charity Softball Game. Riverside Park on Diamond 1!


September 13, 5:30pm-8:30pm: Watertown Area Chamber of Commerce Downtown Watertown Wine Walk. Enjoy wine, food pairings, and beautiful displays of art by local artists at each of the 12 participating locations. Only $25 per person, limited to the first 250! Preregistration required by going to www.watertownchamber.com.


September 14, 15, 21 and 22, 7:00pm (September 23, 2pm): Watertown Players production of “37 Postcards.” You don’t want to miss this hilarious and touching show. Tickets are on sale at Piggly Wiggly in Watertown or at brownpapertickets.com for $12. Tickets will be available at the door for $16. Watertown Players Theater, 210 Water Street.


September 15, 8am-4pm: Watertown Daily Times 8th Annual Fall Citywide Rummage.


September 22: Watertown Humane Society’s Run Walk Wag 5K Fun Run or 1 Mile Walk. Pet-oriented 5K fun run/ 1 mile walk fundraiser for the Watertown Humane Society. There will also be bucket raffles, a silent auction, and vendors selling pet themed items. More info at: www.runwalkwag.com


September 29-30, 10am-5pm: Ebert’s Greenhouse Village Craft Fair. Wide variety of crafters and artisans. The Fall Festival also begins this weekend with hayrides to the pumpkin patch, Story Theater, farm animals, inflatables, and much more. W1795 Fox Rd., Ixonia.


September 29: Watertown Run From the Cops 10k/5k/1k. Sign up for the 10K, 5K, or 1K kids fun run! 100% of your registration goes directly to help victims of all ages and support them in their fight against domestic abuse.
