Also, free coffee all day and a kwik trip gift card to the group/person that traveled the furthest during the event. March 3-4, Watertown Arts Council presents Spring into the Arts. A festival of visual, musical, theatrical, and literary arts and people’s choice fine art contest. Spend a half hour to the whole afternoon voting on best of show, hearing different presentations and making your own art! There are activities for all ages!Watertown Elks Lodge. 117 N 1st Street.

March 17, 10am-11:30am: Watertown Irish Jig Jog 5k walk/run. New course starts and ends at Watertown Senior Center. Great prizes! New generous family rate! Gathering at Lyons Irish Pub after event.

Over 400 walkers/runners participated in last year’s event. All proceeds of the non-profit event will go to the Watertown Education Foundation which last year provided over $21,000.00 in grants directly to both public and private school classrooms in Watertown. March 17, 4pm-7pm: St. Patrick’s Day Celebration. The 2018 Watertown Catholic St. Patrick’s Day Celebration, hosted by St. Bernard Catholic Church, will take place on Saturday, March 17 from 4 -7 p.m. The event will celebrate the very best in Irish food and entertainment, promising an exciting evening of family fun! Choose a delectable corned beef dinner, melty Reuben sandwich platter or traditional bangers and mash (Irish sausages with mashed potatoes and rich gravy). Tap your toes to traditional Irish music, try your hand at the Irish jig or engage in a sing-a-long! Adults $8 ($12 at door). Children, 10 years and younger $5. Family $30 ($40 at door). Purchase tickets in advance at the St. Bernard Rectory (114 S. March 23-24, 7pm: The Watertown Players present “Radio Daze IV: Out of the Coma.” The show is done in the style of old time radio. This is the fourth edition of what has become a very popular production. March 24, 3pm-5pm: Board Paint Night at Lyons Irish Pub. There will be 5 options to choose from. The deadline to register for this Paint Event is March 12th! March 24, 8am-4pm: Sit, Stay, and Save Pet Adoption Event at Y’s Way Flooring. Pets will be available to adopt between 11 am – 2 pm. Local veterinarians, pet stores, pet groomers, and a food truck will be on hand. See carpet cleaning demonstrations for pet accidents. Enjoy specials on select carpets and free pad with special carpet purchase. PET DRIVE: Drop off any pet item or money donation during the month of March at any Y’s Way locations to be given to the Watertown Humane Society. 500 Milford St.

March 24, 10am: Easter at the Y! Hop on in for this eggciting good time! There will be Easter arts & crafts, games and a visit from the Easter Bunny. Plus, our annual Easter Egg Hunt will run continuously from 10:00 am-Noon. Bring your camera to capture the fun and a basket to collect the eggs! All are welcome. The Egg Hunt is geared towards kids ages 10 and under. FREE COMMUNITY EVENT!

March 24, 1pm: 70th Annual Easter Egg Hunt. Bigger and better than ever this year with a large Easter egg hunt, balloon animals, face painting, petting zoo, and free hot dogs, popcorn, and beverages while they last. Bring your cameras for a photo op with the Easter Bunny!

March 30, 1:30pm-3:30pm: Watertown Public Library presents the movie “Coco.” Popcorn/juice provided. Snacks from home welcome. No registration required. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
