One of the highlights of a trip to the Wisconsin State Fair is the Wisconsin Products Pavilion.  It is a fun tour of tastes produced in our great state.  You don’t have to wait until August to take a tour of homemade Wisconsin products.  Watertown can accommodate year round!

Kraemer Wisconsin Cheese– Purveyors of Artisan Cheese since 1929

Emil’s Pizza

This company is a thriving operation, producing one of the most sought after, high-quality pizzas in the state of Wisconsin.  While the business does not offer pizza to eat on-site, they distribute to restaurants and grocery stores around the state and provide a fundraiser program.

Berres Brothers Coffee Roasters

The Berres Brothers brand was officially launched in March of 1992, when the company began roasting its own coffee.  The rest is history.  Currently over 100 types of specialty coffees are roasted daily, including more than 40 flavored varieties.  The coffees can be found in grocery stores throughout the Midwest, and can be ordered online, but a trip to their location offers so much more.   Here you can experience a delicious café of fresh sandwiches, wraps, soups, and of course coffee drinks.  You will also be able to buy fresh roasted coffee beans and accessories.  On select dates, you may take a free coffee class where you will learn how to roast, grind, and brew the perfect cup of coffee. Glenn’s Market and Catering

An old time meat market with a fresh selection of meats, Glenn’s has been providing service since 1983. This owner operated company boasts around 50 varieties of homemade bratwurst.  Flavors include pizza, hawaiian, mushroom swiss, cherry, honey mustard, and so many more.  Traditional flavors are also available.  The company also sells other homemade products including wieners, sausages, smoked pit hams and more.  A trip to their store allows you to experience all of the above as well as enjoy items from their large deli case.  Visitors come from near and far.  What are you waiting for? 722 W. This market has been a family run business since 1919, and remains at its original location!  The company specializes in homemade German sausages, with no MSG, no fillers or extenders. Mullen’s Dairy Bar

Watertown is patiently waiting for the re-grand opening of this iconic local business.  Celebrating its 8th decade in business, Mullen’s Dairy Bar is dedicated to making ice cream the old fashioned way.  Their delicious homemade ice cream comes in a wide range of flavors.  Visitors come from all over to experience the great taste and the nostalgia of days gone by with an old fashioned soda fountain, stools at the counter, and historical memorabilia for the public to enjoy.  Regardless of your reason for visiting Watertown, no visit is complete without a stop at Mullen’s.  The anticipated reopen is scheduled for spring of 2017!   212 W Main St. Watertown, WI 53094

Staude’s Apple Blossom Acres

Honey is not only known for its delicious flavor, but also the health benefits that come along with it.  Staude’s harvests honey on their local farm, and offers it for sale year round.  Dale Staude demonstrated his beehive at the Wisconsin State Fair, and can be seen doing other beekeeping demonstrations in the area.  Not all honey is created equal, and Staude’s has a fine reputation!  They also sell local produce and wood crafts seasonally.  Contact the farm for details!  N1475 Hwy M, Watertown, WI 53098. Looking for additional local products? Watertown Farmers’ Market is held in Riverside Park every Tuesday from May through mid-November from 7am to 12pm, and Garden Tales Farmers’ Market is held each Thursday (August through October), in the parking lot of the Watertown Public Library on Water St. from 3:00-6:00pm.
