Watertown Riverfest and Octagon Social

August 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, 3-6pm: Garden Tales Farmers Market. Come for fresh produce, baked goods, handmade crafts and more! Watertown Public Library-100 S. Water St.

August 2, 5pm: Relay for Life of Rock River. Participants will start walking at 5pm. The survivor-caregiver lap will be at 6pm, the luminaria ceremony will be held at 9pm. Watertown High School track, Endeavor Drive.

August 7, 6:30pm-8pm: Rhythm on the Rock. Summer music series on the beautiful Rock River, located on the lawn between the river and the Watertown Senior & Community Center. The evening’s performer is David Mazzie. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets.

August 8-11, WATERTOWN RIVERFEST. Enjoy 4 days of live music, including national acts! Come for the music, stay for the food, carnival, craft fair, car show, water ski shows, fireworks and more! See www.watertownriverfest.com for 4-day schedule. Riverside Park, 850 Labaree Street.

August 13, 20, 27, 7am-12pm: Watertown Farmers Market. Shop for fresh local produce, fresh meats and cheeses, potted plants, popcorn, pastries, hand crafted items, and so much more! Riverside Park-850 Labaree St.

August 13, 5:30pm-9pm: Leslie Presents Concert Series 2019. A Watertown Elk’s Lodge Fundraiser for Custom Canines. Leslie Blasing will entertain you with 7 decades of popular cover music. Doors open at 5:30pm, meet and greet 6-7pm, music and dancing 7-9pm. $10 in advance (eventbrite.com), $15 at the door. Taco bar all-you-can-eat $5 starting at 6pm. August 17, 6-7pm: Heritage Homes Concert series with live music by Myron Moldenhauer Enjoy live music under the gazebo. Root beer floats and popcorn available for purchase. 700 Welsh Rd.

August 17, 6-9pm: Blues Jam Fundraiser. Enjoy an evening of great music and fun! Admission is free, donations will be accepted and there will be a 50/50 raffle with proceeds going to support the Hero’s Café mission. There will also be a steak dinner that night hosted by the Past Exulted Rulers. Watertown Elk’s Lodge-117 N 1st Street.

August 18, 1:30pm-4pm: Octagon House Ice Cream Social and First Brigade Band. The Octagon House Museum will be the setting for the Watertown Historical Society’s annual ice cream and homemade cake social. Civil war era music will be performed by the 1st Brigade Band, playing period brass band music on antique instruments while dressed in civil war era uniforms and gowns. 1:30pm-4pm. Free admission.
