March 1-2: Vintage Shop Hop. The 6th Annual Vintage Shop Hop is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, March 1 & 2, 2019. t's the mother lode of all vintage road trips...a self-guided day to any number of the 400+ participating VINTAGE shops, BOUTIQUES, BARN SALES, ODDITY SHOPS & HOME DECOR STORES throughout northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. Vintage Shop Hop provides the list of participating vintage and antique shops, and YOU grab your friends and hit the road to shop! You will find farmhouse chic, industrial and automotive relics, architectural salvage, barn wood, piles of windows & doors, vintage & boutique clothing, jewelry old and new, cottage finds, cabin goods, and everything to deck out your she shed, man cave or outdoor bar! Watertown shops include: The Chic Boutique and Elite MarketSpace.
March 2, 10 am AND 1pm: Baking Class - Irish Soda Bread And Pot Of Gold Cake Pops! Fun baking and decorating class at Watertown’s newest B&B-Katherine Holle House! 10 am class and 1 pm class. 119 N. Church St. Registration required, call 920-253-2444.
March 2, 7:30pm-10:30pm: Live music at Lyons Irish Pub by Ian Gould. Ian’s shows share pub spirit and conjure images of Ireland. Blending traditional Irish songs—everything from “Back Home in Derry” to “My Wild Irish Rose”—with contemporary music—from the Beatles to U2—Ian reminds audiences that “the only thing better than singing is more singing.” 201 E Main St.
March 3, 3pm-4:30pm: Watertown Area Chamber Orchestra Concert. The concert played in the Watertown High School Auditorium is FREE to the public. 825 Endeavor Dr.
March 2, 10am-6pm and March 3, 10am-4pm: Spring into the Arts. A festival of visual, musical, theatrical, and literacy arts. Free Family Festival. Vote for your favorite artworks in the People’s Choice Art Show. Live performances all weekend. Art and food available for purchase. Silent Auction of items donated by local businesses. Free children's activities and face painting. Watertown Elk’s Lodge, 117 N 1st St.
March 8, 6-9pm: Beach Party BINGO: The Watertown Main Street Program invites you to attend this special event where all proceeds will be used to benefit downtown beautification projects. Admission is $25 (cash or check only) and seating is limited to the first 150 attendees. As part of the $25 admission you will receive 20 3-card bingo games and snacks. You are invited to play more cards by purchasing additional 20 3-card game packs for $10 each. A cash bar will be open during the event. Bingo daubers will also be available for sale. Must be 18 or older to play. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with Bingo starting at 6:30 p.m. There is no pre-registration for this event so be sure to arrive early! Beach attire is optional, but encouraged. Prizes will be awarded to three attendees wearing the best beach or tropical-themed outfits. Prizes for the winners of each bingo game will be quality specialty gifts, housewares, jewelry, gift cards, services or gift baskets generously donated by Watertown merchants. March 8-10, 7pm: Luther Preparatory School presents the Musical Production Guys and Dolls. March 16, 10am: Watertown Irish Jig Jog 5k. Family-friendly 5k run/walk benefitting the Education Foundation of Watertown. March 16, 7pm-11pm: Saint Patricks Party at the Elk’s Lodge. The Baker's Union with special guest Robert Castro, will rock the Elk's at the annual St. Patty's extravaganza! A little blues, a little jazz, and plenty of tunes to dance to. 117 N 1st Street.
March 16, 8pm-11pm: Yes! Watertown presents 80’s cover band Bad Medicine. Bad Medicine has been one of Milwaukee's premier party rock 'n roll bands for over a decade. You can see their high energy tribute to Bon Jovi at the best venues throughout Wisconsin, Iowa, and Illinois....Including Summerfest, the Wisconsin State Fair, and numerous festivals and casinos throughout the region. Well, now is your chance to see them in WATERTOWN on March 16th! . All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Watertown Public Library expansion.
