August 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, 3pm-6pm: Watertown Public Library’s Farmers Market. Fresh, local produce and more! Watertown Public Library parking lot. Every Thursday through October 25th.

August 3-4-Relay for Life of Rock River. All communities in the surrounding Jefferson County area are invited to participate in the Relay at Watertown High School. This event bring communities together to remember loved ones lost, honor survivors of all cancers, and raise money to help the American Cancer Society make a global impact on cancer. Open to the public.

August 4-Presentation on Joseph E Davies. Presentation on the life and career of Watertown native Joseph Davies, former Ambassador to the Soviet Union, by Mia Grosjean. The presentation begins at 5:30pm at Towne Cinema. Free admission.

August 4, 7pm: Haus of Peace Fundraiser-Couture without Cloth Contest. Fashion show of frivolous and wacky divine designs, made up entirely of unique items, without the use of cloth. Includes local boutiques fashionshow, 50/50 raffle, silent auction. Bring quarters for judging! Tickets $12 in advance, $15 at the door (available at Watertown Piggly Wiggly or brownpapertickets.com). Watertown Players Theater, 210 S. Market St.

August 5-Octagon House Ice Cream Social with Grand Concert by the 1st Brigade Band. The Octagon House Museum will be the setting for the Watertown Historical Society’s annual ice cream and homemade cake social. Civil war era music will be performed by the 1st Brigade Band, playing period brass band music on antique instruments while dressed in civil war era uniforms and gowns. 1:30pm-4pm. Free admission.

August 9-12, Watertown Riverfest. Enjoy 4 days of live music, including national acts! Come for the music, stay for the food, carnival, craft fair, car show, lumberjack shows, fireworks and more! Riverside Park, 850 Labaree Street.

August 11, Country Music Star,Craig Campbell-See You Try Tour at Riverbend RV Resort. With Opening Act Drew Baldridge. Tickets can be purchased at https://ticketbud.com/events/c05d8684-d527-11e7-b571-f70f573f5eb2.

August 14, 21, 28, 7am-noon: Watertown Farmers Market. The market offers healthy foods that include meats, cheeses, honey, produce and more. In addition, shoppers will find beautiful plants and flowers, décor, and more!

August 24, 5:30pm: Watertown Elks Lodge 3rd Annual Outdoor Blues Jam. Food served at 5:30pm, music starts at 6pm. All musicians welcome to sit in. Help out a great cause. 117N 1st Street. Contact Watertown Elks Lodge for additional information. 920-261-5473.

August 26-Praise in the Park. Bring the family to Riverside Park for this free event consisting of worship, music, dance, children’s crafts, bounce house, and face painting. Free admission.
